As our name implies, the heart of our business is molding. The bulk of our molding operation is plastic injection molding, but we also offer compression molding. In addition, Mac Molding is one of the few molders who still work with thermal set material for our customers who require it. Bring us your molds and we’ll treat them as if they were our own as we work to produce the best possible parts for you.
Learn MoreIn compression molding, it’s imperative to find a molder who uses the right amount of material, understands the heating time required, and the force that should be applied to the mold and the necessary cooling time.
Thermal Set material is used when molded parts are used in applications where they’ll be exposed to high temperatures that would cause most plastics to melt.
Once the parts are released from your molds, Mac Molding offers various post-molding operations including trimming, drilling, deburring, deflashing and degating.
